Valeos Transplant Society is a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization based in Washington, D.C.
Organ donation is the most beautiful and generous gift. Yet, far too often the potential of these gifts is never fully reached. And with more than 100,000 Americans awaiting transplant (and many others never even listed), the U.S. organ transplant system needs modernization.
Valeos is a new patient-founded, patient-centric society designed to improve transplant outcomes through data, technology, and collaboration.
We’re uniting the transplant community — patients, donors, transplant centers, organ procurement organizations, and beyond — through connected data. With new longitudinal datasets featuring built-in data governance and privacy controls, the ecosystem can standardize patient care protocols, optimize organ allocation policy, improve system integrity and performance, and drive accountability and improvement.
Recipients, waitlist candidates, organ donors, and their loved ones are our purpose.
Responsible, respectful service to the community with humility and and curiosity.
Inclusive collaboration and diverse perspectives drive our relentless pursuit of excellence.
Radical transparency to the ecosystem through results and impact that truly betters lives.
